Why Did You Choose Bastyr’s DAOM Program?
"I was drawn to Bastyr's DAOM program by its strong emphasis on oncology research. I witnessed a dear friend go through the process of dealing with cancer, and that experience motivated me to pursue further TCM studies at Bastyr. I believe preventative medicine holds the key to reducing the occurrence of cancer. Cancer is a multi-step process that happens over a long period of time. I am also interested in developing teaching skills that will help me work with adult learners."
